great product! December 23, 2007 EGS 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
we give this to my cat twice a day so we go through a lot of it, so the bulk availability with free shipping is wonderful, and we've seen great results - she's much more agile than she used to be before we started supplementing. Only thing is the dosage recommended may need to be played with - we started with 1 capsule a day and went to 2 because she's overweight and we weren't seeing great results at first, 2 seemed to be the ticket for her!
Satisfied April 5, 2008 Lori Jean (Ohio) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Pleased with merchandise and service. This was the cheapest I've found Cosequin online or locally. It is a LOT of Cosequin, but my vet says the cats need it. And it does seem to help. The vet is recommending it for my cats' chronic bladder problems. He says it helps the lining of the bladder. They have been on Cosequin for six months now and so far, no more UTIs.
Cat arthritis help April 7, 2008 Lisa (San Jose, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After my limping cat was diagnosed with arthritis in her front legs my vet recommended cosequin. My cat stopped limping about 20 days after starting this medication and has not limped since.
cosequin for bladder April 16, 2009 nicole (switzerland) Both of my FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disease) kitties take cosequin to help with their bladder troubles. The one cat will lick it right up when the powder is mixed with gravy from wet food. The other kitty is more difficult and to avoid the stress of pilling him, I just rub the gravy/powder mixture on his gums and he then eats it with no trouble. As for if it is helping the bladder, I can't say for sure but they both have had lengthy periods without any inflammation symptoms. Definitely not hurting, so I figure I will continue to give it to them.
Fabulous, live-saving product! April 23, 2009 carolyn (Canal Winchester, OH) We have a Persian that unfortunately, was probably the victim of in-line breeding and has systemic arthritis. Our vet suggested this product and when combined with Metacam, it works like a dream. He would have been put to sleep without it so believe me, this product is definitely a God-send. He can walk freely again, is actually up playing for the first time in 2 years, and his bones don't crack when you pick him up anymore. His elbows are staying within the joint better so he's able to get around. All that said, he's only 8! Great, great product and we cannot recommend it enough!
